Brian Headshot

A Western Pennsylvania native, Brian has over 30 years of lending and banking experience, providing creative financial solutions to both small and middle-market companies ranging in annual revenue from $10 million to more than $1 billion. Working closely with business owners and CFO’s, he provided a full range of banking services, as well evaluation, consulting, and financing for numerous M&A transactions. Most recently, Brian was Senior Vice President for M&T Bank in Pittsburgh, prior to which he held similar positions with Bank of America and Huntington Bank locally.

Brian’s financial services career began with a fifteen-year tenure at GE Capital Equipment Financing, in which he exponentially grew markets in Philadelphia, Cleveland, and Chicago. He excelled in an environment where only “A” and “B” players were retained, and he was selected to give annual business performance presentations to several GE CEOs including Jack Welch. This background has provided Brian with an ideal skill set with which to benefit business owners who are considering selling or buying a business.

Brian brings significant value through his expertise in financial statement analysis, keen insight into the priorities of banks, sellers, and buyers, actionable recommendations for improvement, deep knowledge of various industries, and a broad professional network.

Brian’s other relevant experience includes owning a small business, teaching business development for an affiliate of University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Business School, and starting his career with Roadway Express in management. Brian earned a BSBA in Marketing from John Carroll University, and an MBA from Duquesne University.

Being passionate about giving back, Brian’s volunteer work includes helping out at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and participating as a Board of Trustees member for the Homeless Children’s Education Fund.
